The Fair Use Doctrine, which provides for the use of copyrighted materials without permission from the creator under limited circumstances, may be one of the most misunderstood aspects of copyright.  This panel will discuss what photographic educators should know and what they should inform their students about fair use regarding the audio, visual, and multi-media areas.
